NEW SHOES
We’ve been rather remiss with the old blog this past few weeks… there’s something about September that means life is rather frenzied and all about change, starting new things, meeting new people, getting set for chilly days and all that. Guess it’s deeply engrained in all of us from a young age with the whole ‘back to school’ thing… new shoes, new teacher etc etc!
This is what we have fervently been up to as part of our ‘back to school’ (and yikes… it’s mid-September already!);
… photo shoots for our winter collection ready for our launch of our men’s bicycles and accessories (we’ve not REALLY told the world about them yet) and sifting through hundreds (dare I say thousands) of images and STILL not being able to decide which ones we like best!
… going to lots of ‘bike-world’ and ‘non-bike-world’ trade shows, seeking out new and fabulous cycling accessories, involving endless coffee and and lots of walking up and down and very tired feet.
… planning September’s Joy Ride (thanks to everyone who has signed up again and welcome to our new friends – looking forward to meeting you!) and discovering even more fantastic routes than we previously thought.
… meeting many of you who have come to see us for a test ride … it’s been a pleasure!
… trying to get in as many late sumer rides as possible amongst all the above to catch the last of rays…
We’re also busy getting packed and loaded up with all our wares for this week-end’s Cambridge Town and Country Show (17th and 18th September 2011) where we’re going to have a little stand.
We’ll be in the marquee, accompanied by a Bella and a Bertie and satchels, picnic rugs, willow baskets and flasks galore, so if you’re up for a jolly good day out, a spot of lunch in town, an amble along the Backs and then a test ride of a beauty of a bicycle, Cambridge is the place to be! We’ll have stock of all items, so you can take your purchase away and save the postage to boot.
